More armor goodness! One forgets just how big an M3 Halftrack is! Sponson armor went on the rear of her today, with much help from our gantry crane (a real lifesaver…and back, and finger saver too!) Now these are on, we can start to adjust the hull for the fitting of the inner floor skin, and the 4 foot high armor sections of the rear hull walls…see, big!
Many thanks to Bruce in Gananoque Ont. for the kind donation of period correct gas cans for her. These hang out for all to see, and they are in superb condition and will make a great addition to the finished machine…and now..coffee!
